Prayer
God,
Thank You for giving me desires.
For curiosity.
For imagination.
For dreams.
For the things that make me come alive.
Help me hold those desires honestly before You.
Where they are from You, nurture them.
Where they need refining, refine them.
Where they are distractions, help me release them.
And where I don't know the difference, give me patience.
I don't want to be afraid of my own heart.
I want to bring it to You.
Amen.

Reflection
There is something beautiful about desire.
The things that make you curious.
The work that makes you come alive.
The dream that keeps tapping on the window of your heart.
The longing for beauty, creativity, connection, adventure, purpose.
But desire and calling are not always identical.
Sometimes we want something simply because we want it.
And that's okay.
You don't have to turn every desire into a ministry.
You don't have to justify every creative impulse with a business plan.
You don't have to make every dream productive.
You can simply admit:
“I want this.”
And bring it to God.
Sometimes He will lead you toward it.
Sometimes He will reshape it.
Sometimes He will ask you to wait.
Sometimes He will ask you to let it go.
And sometimes you'll discover that the desire itself was part of the invitation—not necessarily the destination.
This is where discernment becomes tender.
We don't have to be afraid of what we want.
We simply hold it with open hands.
Because the goal isn't to convince God to give us what we desire.
The goal is to become people who trust Him enough to let Him reveal what our desires are really pointing toward.

What is something you deeply desire right now?
Don't explain it. Don't justify it. Don't make a plan.
Simply pray:
“This is something I want. What do You want me to know about it?God, do You want me to walk through this door?”
