Prayer
God,
I confess how often I measure my life against what I wish it were. Help me recognize the provision, strength, and grace You've given me for today. Quiet my fear of not having enough and teach me to trust You with tomorrow while living in gratitude for today's gifts.
Amen.

Reflection
There's something comforting about the simplicity of daily bread.
Not a year's supply. Not a guarantee that we'll never face uncertainty. Just what we need for today.
We can spend so much energy worrying about the next season that we fail to receive the one we're living. We want the whole plan, the complete answer, the reassurance that everything will work out exactly as we hope.
But perhaps gratitude begins with a smaller question: What has been provided for me today?
Maybe it is enough energy to finish one task. Enough courage to have a difficult conversation. Enough help to get through an overwhelming afternoon.
Today's provision may look smaller than we imagined, but it still deserves to be noticed.
