I'm Jessy, the new owner of Sparrows Grace! Hopefully, you caught Melissa's email last week or my email a few days ago explaining the switch and the upcoming name change to Purpose + Grit Marketplace.

First of all, I just want to take a minute to say thank you to those of you who have already reached out to say hi. What a warm welcome you have given me as I begin leading this space. I just know we are going to make some magic as we work together to bring the dreams that God laid on our hearts to life.

Here's what you can expect in this space:

I intimately know how scary it can feel the first time you say your dream aloud. I know how vulnerable you feel in the initial stages of releasing your product into the world, and how even after years you still get butterflies in your stomach as you wonder if you are doing this entrepreneur-thing right. No matter what stage of business you are in -- just launching or well-seasoned -- I want you to know your dream is always safe here. In the Purpose + Grit Marketplace, we are cultivating a community of audacious dreamers who hold each other up and push each other forward to bring those dreams to life.

I'm a small-batch, handmade maker myself. (And a mama, a wife, a publisher, and a few more titles which are stories for another day...) Needless to say, I'm busy and I know you are too. For the last 5+ years, I have built the vast majority of my business and offerings by prioritizing 15-minute chunks of time. This includes: publishing 4 books, curating 19 editions of Gritty Faith, and creating over 300 prayer art collections. I know how precious your time is and I'll do everything in my power to help you maximize it when you are in this space. Let's do more of what sparks the light within us.

I deeply believe that there is a reason God laid this vision on your heart. This dream is yours. God has already given you the ability to accomplish it. God is already lining your path with the resources you will need along the way, and He has already aligned the people that will be impacted by your work. In this space, we do not believe in competition. The way you create and serve is entirely different than the way other creators do. Your work will impact different people in different ways. There is room for us all. This dream is yours for a reason.

We are all in different phases of our entrepreneurial journey and that is the most glorious part about a community like this. We get to learn from each other, lean on each other, and love on each other. Pull up a chair. You can sit at my table, and we will work alongside each other to build our dreams.

I've been an entrepreneur for 5+ years now and I've been on every side of the spectrum. I've had months where I didn't think my business would survive and years where I've made over six-figures from my small-batch handmade work. I've had the highest of highs that can only be described as Divine Alignment, and seasons where I've fallen flat on my face. I tell you this because authenticity is my love language and despite how muddy the trenches get, I'm always here with you, ready to let you run your fingers over my scars so you can see how you can make it through too.

My job in this space is to be the one in the stands that is cheering the LOUDEST for you. Every day I'll work to direct our 15,000+ shoppers towards your work to help you make meaningful connections. Our goal here isn't just sales for your shop. It's to make repeat customers, loyal customers, and people who just can't help but shout from the rooftops about how great your work is.

Because at the end of the day, your goal is to amplify your impact to reach as many people as you can with the dream God laid on your heart, am I right?
