This October, journey with us as we slow down to recognize what God has been growing, receive the fruit of His faithfulness, and give thanks for the harvest.

Prayer
God,
Thank You for the ways You allow what You grow in us to bless others.
Help me hold my gifts with open hands. Give me discernment about when to share, when to wait, and when to keep something close to You a little longer.
Keep me from hiding what You've given me out of fear, and keep me from offering it simply to be seen.
Let my life bear fruit that points back to You.
Amen.
Verse of the Day
Reflection
There's a reason we don't grow a garden simply to admire it.
Eventually, the tomatoes get picked. The apples come down from the tree. The herbs make their way into the kitchen.
What has grown becomes part of something else.
I think about that when I consider the things God cultivates in our lives.
The patience we develop may make us gentler with our children.
The courage we find may help us speak up for someone who cannot speak for themselves.
The creativity we nurture may bring beauty into a home, a church, a friendship, or a community.
The story we finally find the words to tell may help someone else feel less alone.
We may never know all the ways our lives touch another person's life. We may not even recognize the fruit someone else receives from what we've offered.
And that's okay.
Our part is not to control what happens after we give. It is to remain close to God, tend what He has entrusted to us, and be willing to share when the time comes.
Some fruit is for our own nourishment.
Some is meant for the people around our table.
And some may travel farther than we ever imagined.
Encouragement
Invitation
Consider something God has grown in you over the past year.
How might it serve someone else—not because you have to make it useful, but because sharing goodness is one way we give thanks for receiving it?
Look for a simple, natural way to pass it along this week.
